Game Development Career Empty Game Development Career

Post by Phill580 Mon Jul 06, 2015 8:00 pm

Hi guys,

So lately i have been thinking about changing my career to do game development,

i am currently 19 and i am an apprentice at a IT Service company named Computacenter, i work as a 2nd line technical analyst and have been thinking that game development as a career instead of fixing servers and customers pc etc.

Please tell me what you guys think and if u know anyone/anything about the career it would be great to hear Smile

Thanks

Its just something i have thought about, i think i can do better than just being technical support, something creative and something that i actually enjoyed doing (like mapping for cod4 was very fun altho its not really game development the scripting and mapping was relaxing, im going to research a lot about the industry before i decide tho Smile

I suggest you try making a mod for fallout 4 as soon as it comes out. If you can do that it proofs you can actually script cod4 scripting is child's play to be honest XD
