Rotu server is going offline

Due to the fact only 1 person avg per month is playing on the server i don't see any reason to keep hosting a 64 slots rotu server. Deathrun stays as people are still playing but i don't think i'm going to keep editing the server any longer even though i said i would. Deathrun with avg 3 person per month is at rank 429 th which means 3 people avg per month is enough to be in the top 500. Cod4 is slowly dying and putting more work in something that is going to die out eventually does not seem logical to me instead in the future we will have our own csgo server but the exact when and what is for now unknown.

Depending on what happens with cod4 deathrun might get some small edits as in fixes for bugs and that kind of stuff.

cs will take over humanity one day at a time.

Saying that "putting more work in something that is going to die out eventually" is like saying that you should give up in life and suicide because you will die eventually... And CoD4 will never die!

everything dies out eventually, like it or not. Cs on the other hand is just great

Counter Strike is a really good game, it is built very well and the system is very good, the only problem i have with it is the community...

well said, honestly in every 'community' there's always those who give it a negative feel but thats just how things are.

Dota 2 the same every valve community reason: to much people. how more people at one spot the bigger the assholes even if you give advice they report you i lol so hard

Even GTA is pretty bad, i dont think i have actully came out of passive mode for about 3 weeks now beacuse when i do ill get instantly killed by hacker or a guy in kuruma armored car for no reason....

Pretty bog standard these days as you say for a community.

omg yes. first thing i do when i spawn in my apartment is turn on passive mode. still wont stop those dicks from blowing your vehicles away

garrys mod is really fun, i wouldn't mind hosting a server for that if people had the game

EDIT: Chax would also love the CSGO server I bet. But I don't have it and don't plan on getting it.

I rather play the same game over and over game (Call of Duty) then play a game where you can't aim down the sight(Counter Strike).
